  • Testimonials

    Carthage College:

"Over the past ten years we have been working with Concert Ideas to assist us in the process of acquiring mainstream artists for our campus events. In those ten years, we have had the opportunity to work with such artists as Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, The Fray, Dave Chappelle, Seth Meyers, Darrel Hammond, etc...  Concert Ideas staff has been instrumental in acquiring these artists.  Their staff are consummate professionals as they are both resourceful and knowledgeable in the entertainment industry.  Their ability to balance the needs of the institution and the talent are beyond reproach.  Our confidence and trust in Concert Ideas has continued to grow because of their abilities and reliability.  We enthusiastically recommend Concert Ideas and their services to any institution desiring to bring top tier talent to their events."

    Rowan University:

"I have worked with Concert Ideas over the last few years. Adam Tobey has been such a tremendous help with planning and executing our events, whether it be our big comedian or our annual spring concert with three major musical acts. Adam and the Concert Ideas team are very professional and always willing to help. I sometimes feel that I am bothering them with so many questions/phone calls, however they always make time for the Students and myself. I will continue to work with Concert Ideas on all of my major programs."

    Valparaiso University:

"I have been working with Concert Ideas for over 30 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the relationship. They are very professional and always negotiate the best deals possible. I have worked at 2 schools and in both occasions I have continued to use Concert Ideas. I find them to be very thorough and always looking out for us throughout the entire process. Adam is the most professional agent I have ever worked with and is always available when we need him. Even if that means contacting him on the day of the show at home. I have dealt with many direct and middle agents throughout the years and Concert Ideas is by far the best one I have done business with."

    Elon University:

"Working with Adam Tobey and Concert Ideas has been a true pleasure. Advising a very active programming board, we interact with a lot of outside vendors and I can say, without a doubt, Adam is one of, if not the, best. He is incredibly responsive to any and all requests and has the knowledge to help students navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of negotiating contracts and managing the egos of big name artists and their staff. He excels at managing the needs of both the university and the artist and is unfailingly honest, which is a necessary attribute. I would recommend him without reservation for any school."

    University of Louisiana at Monroe:

"Concert Ideas has been great to work with. They go above and beyond in helping you prepare for your event and making sure that everything runs smoothly. I have worked with them for the past three years and every concert has been better than the last. Concert Ideas will set you up to succeed and be  there to work through any problems so that you do succeed.  They care that my concert is a success just as much as I do.  I would recommend Concert Ideas to anyone."

    SUNY Delhi:

"I have been working closely with Concert Ideas in my role as Director of Student Activities at the State University of New York at Delhi since 1992. Obviously, I have been well satisfied with the level of service we always receive to have had such a long standing business relationship. I can highly recommend Concert Ideas as a totally professional agency that is well equipped to deal with any concert related issues that may arise. They have always provided excellent service for SUNY Delhi no matter what the event, large or small."

    Missouri Western State University:

"The service provided by Concert Ideas goes beyond artist negotiations and contracts, they are there for the school months before the concert and after to make sure the institution has a successful event.  Through the entire process Adam, Amanda, and everyone else at Concert Ideas are just a phone call or email away.  Or what usually happens, is they call/email US to see how they can help.  And this service is year-round, not just at "concert time".  Don Willis, Assistant Dean of Student Services, Missouri Western State University."

    Florida Gulf Coast University:

His insights, training, and support have been invaluable and allowed  for a successful program here at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. In all of my dealings with Adam and the Concert Ideas staff, they have been well prepared, professional and helpful. As the Advisor to the Concert Committee I have always appreciated their access to them by my students. They can call them anytime, answer any questions, research any act, and they do so in an open and friendly manner. I also appreciate their honesty. They are always upfront on things, don’t pull any punches, and always look out for our best interest. In my opinion Concert Ideas is a top notch, highly professional middle agent and we are very pleased to continue to work with such a dedicated group of agents."

    East Tennessee State University:

"The entire Concert Ideas team, especially Adam Tobey, have always been available by phone at any hour of the day should a need or question arise and have always been able to provide professional, prompt, and efficient help. There has never been a time that I was unable to reach someone with Concert Ideas or to have a question answered. There have even been a few times when we have requested Adam to attend a particularly large event, and the support he provided on campus was top notch. The team at Concert Ideas has always been able to help us secure a top national act from our students’ rankings. We have never had to stray from our students’ preference list and have always been pleased with not only the quality of the performances booked, but with the contracting support, resources and expertise that Adam and the Concert Ideas team have offered us, including promotional materials and other additional general concert planning tools. "Concert Ideas has helped to spoil our students!  We have hosted some of the biggest acts at their peak, and it has been through the hard work and creativity of Mike Russo.  We talk dates, routing, dollars, and ideas at length!  With Concert Ideas, I never feel like I am being "sold" something. They present options, give feedback, and ultimately work with us to come up with the best show possible.  As a state institution, our contract and payment process is cumbersome and they work to get in front of potential problems.  Our shows with Concert Ideas have been very successful and make me feel like I have a real advocate and partner throughout the process."
